Energy-friendly industrial freezer

If you are looking for an energy-friendly industrial freezer, we also have some of the best on the market. It could, for example, It may be an idea to buy a used industrial freezer in Energy Class A rather than a new one in Energy Class D to save money on ongoing energy consumption. Also remember that when you buy your industrial freezer used, you are part of a circular product life cycle which is good for the environment instead of the product being scrapped.

Important when choosing an industrial freezer

When you choose an industrial freezer, you can buy a cabinet with a static freezer or a ventilated freezer.

A static cabinet can be packed more "tightly" than a ventilated industrial freezer. This is because a static cabinet has a cooling surface on all shelves, so the cold is evenly distributed even if each and every shelf is tightly packed.

With a ventilated industrial freezer, it is crucial that the cold air can travel around inside the cabinet - otherwise your goods will not remain cold. If the cold air cannot pass inside the industrial freezer - e.g. because a shelf is tightly packed with bagel boxes, then the customer can not reach the bottom.

In the summer of 2016, new energy rules were introduced, which means that the vast majority of industrial freezers must now have energy labeling on. This means that manufacturers have focused a lot on reducing energy consumption.

Remember that even the energy savings of an energy-friendly industrial freezer must be seen throughout the life of the product. Often it pays to invest a little more now, to save the next many years.
