First a few tips for self-help
If the thermal fuse has blown, you will experience either 1: The equipment is completely dead or 2: the equipment apparently works, but for example an oven will not heat up.
The thermal fuse is a small safety device that ensures that the equipment does not overheat. Typically, the thermal fuse is located where the cord enters the equipment. It will often be protected by a small plastic cap that needs to be unscrewed.
Ovens and mixers have safety switches that switch off the equipment when the door is opened or when the grid for the mixing bowl is lifted. Check that the equipment makes a faint "click" when opening the door or grille. If it does not, the oven does not detect, for example, that the door is open - and then it cannot start. Often it is just something that is stuck, but the contact can also be defective.
Is the fuse gone?
Especially with 400v equipment, which runs on 3 phases (fuses), this can be difficult to see. There may be light in the equipment, even if one of the 3 fuses has blown. Ie for example, you will still be able to start an oven, but it will not be able to heat or only weakly. •
With 230v equipment (normal socket) this will mean that there is no light in the equipment
There are 2 different ways the power can be disconnected in the fuse box: 1, the HFI relay or 2, the fuse.
If your equipment switches on the HFI relay, it means that there is a transition (fault voltage). This can be done, for example, if there is water in a contact or water in some equipment. It can also be because there is, for example, a transition in a heater or similar.
If your fuse blows, it is in most cases due to an overconsumption of power on the group (too many devices on the same power group). Note that equipment on power current (400v) can be well lit and partially function even if a fuse has blown. Such equipment runs on 3 phases (fuses). In practice, this will mean that, for example, a stove can work, but if a fuse has blown, some of the heaters will not run. Then the oven will be able to heat - just not with the same strength as normal.
